Job Purpose
As an influential business partner, the IMC and Media Manager will work with the Hub Leadership team and Marketing team as well as with the Division IMC, Marketing and Leadership teams, in giving input to elaborate Integrated Communications Strategies at European level and then adapting, activating and implementing these Strategies in to best-in-class Communications Plans for the NE region (UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway).
You will lead the Communication Planning, Media and Digital/Data transformation for Colgate-Palmolive in the Northern Europe HUb, by having the vision to articulate a forward thinking approach and the leadership skills to execute it to enhance the company's growth, profitability and competitive edge.
You will be responsible for driving the development of best-in-class Communications and Media media strategy, planning and buying and digital marketing capabilities in the Northern Europe Hub with a vision to support brand equity and short and long term business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead all Northern Europe Hub IMC and Media activities, in close collaboration and partnership with Hub Leadership and Marketing teams, and in alignment with Division IMC, Marketing and Leadership teams vision and directions considering, leveraging and integrating all relevant POE touchpoints, challenging what has been done in the past and driving the transformation
- Partner with Marketing teams, Agencies and other partners (such as FAANG, Media Owners, Research Partners, etc...) to provide input for the development of European Communication Strategies by Brand
- Partner with Marketing teams, Agencies and other partners (such as FAANG, Media Owners, etc...) to then develop and implement strong and innovative Communications plans across all relevant touchpoints aligned with these Comms Strategies, across all Northern Europe markets
- Be responsible for the tracking and update in real time of Media Investment across the 6 markets of the Northern Europe region, as well as monthly Communications Plans update, and impact on Hub P&L
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness across all working and non-working media investment (Agency Fees and Production) through benchmarking, competitive bidding and other innovative approaches
- Be responsible for relationship with Agency Partners and ensure best possible resources are assigned to Colgate-Palmolive business
- Drive development of Digital/Data engagement strategies in NE. Provide strategic focus, build brand team digital capabilities and enable marketers to effectively lead digital initiatives via strategic advisement, best practice sharing and hands-on learning via program execution
- Direct negotiations as required for key investment on Media and IMC Campaigns, i.e. annual TV deals, Barter deals, Agency Remuneration Agreement, etc...
- Partner with Agencies and Marketing teams to develop relevant training for the Marketing Teams (IMC, Strategic Planning, Digital/Data, Innovations, etc...)
