Location: Woking, UK
Reporting to: Customer Development Manager

 

Job Purpose:

  • Working as part of a dynamic customer development team working across the UK’s number 1 retailer 
  • Supporting the Customer Development Managers to execute omnichannel plans that deliver Net Sales, GTN and Margin targets for Tesco with P&L responsibility
  • Ownership of promotional planning for all retailer activity 
  • Responsibility for investment invoicing and financial analysis 
  • Externally building collaborative commercial relationships and networks within Tesco, driving engagement and optimising business plans and opportunities.
  • Internally collaborating cross functionally with the Brand Managers, Category Management and Shopper Marketing teams to develop the most customer-centric category growth plans and deliver best in class store execution
  • Inspire and lead the relationship with the Tesco Online team to ensure we are achieving the key measures (as per the Profitero scorecard).
  • A revenue growth mindset and laser focus on ROI to optimise opportunities and the ability to identify the need for course correction plans


Who you are:

  • 2+ years commercial experience in FMCG (Tesco would be an advantage)
  • Excellent PC Skills (Excel and Google Workspace)
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills (understanding & use of Neilson an advantage)
  • Someone who is motivated by building relationships which deliver results
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
  • Proactive individual who can handle multi-tasking, with exceptional planning and priority setting
  • Passionate about brands, retail, shoppers and the consumer.
  • Ambitious mindset and fast paced learner 
  • BSc/BA Hons degree or equivalent
