Job Purpose

You will be joining Colgate-Palmolive at a pivotal time for the organisation which is currently undergoing profound digital transformation that will shape all our current and future marketing activities. 
Your task will be to develop a CRM and ESP strategy for Colgate and Sanex in the UK focusing on the B2C market. This includes defining customer-focused campaigns, interpreting and optimizing email marketing results, and supporting the digital marketing team in growing the subscriber base.

 

What you will do

  • Lead our coordinated digital strategy (1P, 2P & 3P) for Northern Europe
  • Growing our first party database, by project leading acquisition campaigns across multiple platforms and vendors. Collaborate with both CRM and media agencies as well as third party vendors and Global IT to setup the campaigns
  • Build 1P data enrichment initiatives to grow quality of our database
  • Ensure our database is organized and data is segmented to clear audience groups that can be demonstrated in improving media efficiency. 
  • Responsible for developing a CRM roadmap for Colgate Palmolive (including oral care, home care and personal care brands) for the UK and Nordic markets.
  • Required to produce dynamic, aesthetically pleasing newsletters in addition to generating tailored reports.
  • Responsible for designing and deploying email marketing campaigns, crafting HTML email templates, supervising email quality, testing templates and emails to ensure that they are compatible across different email clients
  • Develop targeting strategies to deliver personalized consumer experiences
  • Measure results, identify trends and build ongoing recommendations to improve performance
  • Align the email marketing strategy with commercial plans
  • Build the new audiences' strategy alongside the Audiences Design manager and EU Digital team
  • Support the onboarding of clean room
  • Support CDP roll out for the local market
  • Lead all aspects of the work of POC digital marketing which includes website, LMS, digital ecosystem, data and CRM
  • Management of 1 direct report


Who you are

  • Good knowledge of CDP management platforms
  • Ability to onboard clean room to the business
  • Extensive knowledge of email marketing important metrics and standard methodologies
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar CRM platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Adobe Marketing Cloud)
  • Proactive approach with strong project management skills
  • Data driven with an ability to draw insights to constantly optimize future campaigns
  • Keen eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Highly proficient commercial and analytical skills
  • Friendly and collaborative approach
  • Ability to work as a team, but also be empowered to work independently.
