The Analytics Visualisation & Enablement Management role is being established in the EMEA regional team to accelerate our ability to convert our data into valuable visualisations & insights that drive growth based decision making in our region.  It’s a critical business translation role that will sit between our business teams & our technical teams - working to scope, design & develop effective, scalable analytic solutions which will step change the speed & effectiveness of our commercial decision making. This role requires a high level of stakeholder management so strong management & communication skills are essential, together with commercial experience of Sales Analytics & Technical BI background. The ideal candidate for this role will be innovative in their thinking, comfortable with ambiguity and have strong collaboration/presentation skills.

 

What you will do

 

Business Translation for Solution Development

  • Partner & collaborate with our local market teams & regional business teams to understand in detail their business challenges & questions that analytics can solve for
  • Design user led analytic/visualisation solutions that can be scaled across the region - collaborating with all key stakeholders for aligned approval
  • Work with our IT teams to understand the data readiness of the required data sets within our data foundation & create the necessary briefing documentation for our engineering teams.

Visualisation Development

  • Lead, own & develop a set of integrated & well structured set of commercial dashboards that will facilitate EMEA reporting for our regional team that enable them to effectively manage our business & identify opportunities for growth
  • Create Best in Class Master template visualizations to be scaled across markets - utilising visualisations that drive speed to insight for the business questions being asked
  • Establish best practice for visualization principles to ensure all audience personas are catered for & UX is optimised for fast insights & decision making
  • Build & share a set of visualisation style guidelines to create consistency & support intuitive interpretation by regional leaders.

Enablement & Training

  • Manage soft launch rollout programmes that will facilitate testing & iteration of new dashboards before wider scaled launches
  • Support the adoption of newly developed dashboards or tools by delivering user led training that focuses on interpretation & maximising insights available
  • Track the usage of dashboards & tools to ensure we’re supporting those of high use & understanding drivers by low use/optimising for greater value

Analyst Community & Capability Support

  • Support the establishment of an Analytics Community across our local markets to further build our analytic capabilities across the teams & promote best practice sharing
  • Be a key sponsor for local sales analysts in order to escalate data quality challenges & IT support required to drive better efficiency in our automation processes
  • Identify & organize any training opportunities that will further develop our sales analysts capabilities & support them to elevate their analytic skills & outputs locally.
     

 

Who you are:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field

  • 8+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Visualisation Engineering or related Analytics Field

  • Strong Commercial/Sales Analytics experience essential. Marketing Analytics preferred 

  • Experience working in or very closely with commercial teams highly beneficial

  • Strong Experience with Data Visualization tools like Google Data Studio, DOMO, Power BI and Tableau 

  • Experience with cloud environments (Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform) and SAP

  • Understanding of data architecture and data engineering, and ML ops 

  • Experience with CPG/Pet Health/Professional Indirect Industries preferred 

  • Proficiency with SQL, dbt beneficial

  • Proficiency with Python or R beneficial
