This role Reports to: General Manager, Singapore


Why is this exciting?

We are looking for capable individuals who are able to translate marketing and retail environment strategies into customers programs, gather market intelligence and identify shopper insights to develop and roll out  effective shopper engagement programs (including promotion plan, merchandising program, display drives, sampling, new product distribution planning, etc.) in our Singapore subsidiary.

 


What would be the responsibilities for this role?

Strategy and growth driver development and deployment

  • Lead the development of customer specific activations to leverage category growth drivers at format level within the customer  (working cross functionally with  marketing, category management, shopper marketing, Customer Development Managers)
  • Develop the customer and format strategy working in partnership with the customer and Customer Development team.


Insight Opportunity Identification.

  • Be the specialist in the team  to utilize Nielsen and consumer sales data to identify and formalize  customer level insights
  • Develop selling stories based on customer specific insights to deliver  solutions for a key identified issue or opportunity.
  • Sell solution to customer with Customer Development Managers to exploit customer opportunities


5P tracking and gap identification

  • Tailor the 5Ps by retail environment to the customers formats
  • Review monthly 5P tracking reports to measure execution to target


Retail category development

  • Tailor new product sell in presentations to the strategies and performance of the customer
  • Work with catman group to develop  format specific spaceman and merchandising solutions

 

What does the ideal candidate profile look like?

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (marketing, business, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management, Trade Marketing, Category Management, etc.
  • Experience in digital/e-platform is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter who can work well both independently and across multi-level stakeholder groups
