The Shopper Marketing Manager, will be the driving force behind how our brands come to life at the point of purchase. They will bridge the gap between brand strategy and retail execution, creating seamless omnichannel experiences that turn browsers into buyers. 

 

This role requires a blend of strategy, creative, analytical rigor, and relationship management to navigate the evolving landscape of retail media. They are the lead advocate for the shopper, ensuring every touchpoint in the moments that matter -from digital scrolling to in-store aisle - is optimised for conversion and growth.

Main responsibilties: 

 

Campaign Strategy & Execution 

  • Develop and implement high-impact omnichannel strategies and campaigns to generate demand and convert shoppers through the path to purchase.

  • Translate brand growth marketing plans into tailored retail media campaigns that resonate with specific shopper demographics.

  • Leverage customer-specific shopper insights to create targeted messaging that drives both brand engagement and measurable brand and sales uplift.

Retailer Media Partnership 

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with the Retail Media Networks, Digital, Operations & Commercial teams.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for retail partners to ensure our brands receive optimal visibility and support.

  • Champion a "test-and-learn" culture, identifying and piloting new growth opportunities, emerging tech and media formats.

  • Effectively manage budgets across various spend types, investing and creating value-unlocks where feasible

Performance and Optimisation 

  • Continuously monitor the performance of all shopper marketing activities against established KPIs and sales targets.

  • Utilise shopper data and post-campaign analytics to refine future plans and pivot strategies in real-time.

  • Manage and optimise budgets to ensure maximum efficiency and a high Return on Investment (ROI) for all spend.

End-to-End Project Management 

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle for shopper marketing executions, from initial concept to final post-mortem.

  • Manage agency relationships, providing clear briefs and ensuring creative output aligns with brand guidelines.

  • Coordinate artwork approvals and logistics to ensure flawless implementation across both digital platforms and physical store environments, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Collaborate strongly with Digital, Brand & Retail Execution teams to lead or contribute to key growth and transformation projects
