Role Summary:

As a Shopper Development Manager for the Southeast Caribbean markets you will be responsible for tailoring, deploying, and managing 5P’s tactics by RE’s within the customer. You will provide input on the customer/RE perspective and work closely with the Customer and Customer Marketing to develop strategies to ensure alignment between customer plan and RE strategy. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive 5Ps Execution & Growth Opportunities: Deploy 5Ps tactics within the customer and identify specific 5Ps opportunities across retail environments (RE) to accelerate business growth.

  • Leverage Shopper & Customer Insights: Champion shopper and category insights by spending regular time in the market, converting these insights into actionable strategies and Category Management tactics.

  • Develop Aligned Customer & RE Plans: Design collaborative, creative strategic plans that simultaneously consider the shopper, customer, and Colgate-Palmolive perspectives while aligning customer plans directly with RE strategies.

  • Manage & Evaluate Promotion Planning: Develop comprehensive promotion plans aligned with customer strategies, systematically monitor in-store execution and compliance, and conduct post-evaluations to adjust for commercial goals.

  • Support Cross-Functional Planning & Disciplines: Collaborate with internal teams to identify commercial opportunities within the monthly CBP discipline, support Logistics in driving Customer Sales Planning, and align plans across Consumer and Customer Marketing.

  • Enhance In-Store Communication & Implementation: Communicate 5Ps plans clearly to Operations, monitor their field implementation, and maximize in-store opportunities to improve shopper engagement and presence.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales, Trade Marketing or Marketing
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets 
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills
  • Advanced English level

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Nielsen or Kantar
  • Previous experience in a regional scope
