As a Shopper Development Manager and key leader, you will be accountable for shaping the strategic direction and driving execution for the group of Customers within your Team. This is a crucial management role focused on influencing the P&L and ensuring we achieve superior business results by actively demonstrating our Leadership Principles (LIFT): Trust, Impact, and Future.

 

What you will do:

  • Drive  Growth: 

    • Translate commercial strategies into innovative omnichannel customer programs to drive sustainable growth actively co-leading the deployment of the CD EDGE strategy across the team and acting as a role model in reinforcing the CD Fundamentals. Take ownership to ensure Omni Demand Generation Plans are flawlessly executed and embedded within the sales team and with key customers, understanding  shopper needs and profile by customer.

    • Adapt and lead the implementation of key company strategies, including new product launches, shopper campaigns, and exclusive promotions, challenging the status quo to drive innovation and long-term success.

 

  • Commercial Excellence and Financial Impact: Co-Lead the execution of the 7P strategy. Provide clarity on performance expectations, ensuring alignment with top priorities like achieving budgeted Organic Growth (OG) GTN targets and Net Sales Objectives.

  • Advanced Analytical Governance & Strategic Prioritization: lead  strategic performance analysis of the 7P’s to diagnose root causes and anticipate implications within  key customers. Pursue curiosity by leveraging advanced analytics and AI tools to develop actionable, data-driven recommendations and action plans to improve Sales, Market Share (SOM), and Numerical Distribution.

 

  • GTN Management (Impact & Trust): Courageously change existing processes to optimize customer investments. Manage GTN with a ROI Mindset to really  drive category growth in our Customers. Govern and master the Growth Choices Model, to ensure optimal commercial focus and customized resource allocation / GTN investment within our customers. Act with integrity by ensuring all controls comply with the Highest Ethical Standards.

 

  • Strategic - Collaboration: Cultivate trust and teamwork by leading and supporting high-impact meetings with customers and cross-functional partners (Marketing, Retail Marketing, Demand Planning and CS&L) to align on business priorities and opportunities and integrate diverse perspectives. Participating actively in joint internal commercial processes, and leading insights-driven GTM design to win the omni-shopper.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related highly analytical field

  • Demonstrated experience in a management or leadership capacity, ideally leading cross-functional projects

  • Fluent in English

  • Exceptional Data-Driven mindset and proficiency in leveraging advanced analytics and tools (e.g., strong Google Suite Skills: Docs, Slides, Sheets)

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in the commercial area or related fields (Retail Marketing, In Store, Sales, or E-commerce), with a track record of driving superior results (Delivering Outstanding Results)

  • Proven capability to balance strategic commercial thinking with hands-on execution, showing strong collaboration and a solid understanding of customer segmentation / resources prioritization methodologies. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales positions as Sales Executive/Key Account Manager (KAM)

  • Possession of an Omni mindset with cross-channel perspective (Retail Marketing / E-commerce experience)
