Main Purpose of Position:

  • An insight partner on Integrated Marketing Communication, media strategy, and China oral care innovation, to drive brand growth and health


  • Lead, design and implement research projects for marketing communication strategy and new bundle development for China

  • Explore and experiment new research methodologies leveraging big data and claimed/thick data to test and learn new product/IMC ideas

  • Lead strategic workshop for external business partners with cross-functional teams on ideation and co-creation through facilitating design thinking, synthesizing learning and providing insights

  • Lead brand health and equity studies to support brand strategy development

  • Manage research budgets and planning as well as improve quality/cost efficiency of each project

  • Track and develop insights on macro environment and consumer trends 

Working Experience

  • 5-8 years of experiences in qualitative and quantitative customized research, including new product development and communication. Analytics and Shopper Research are a plus.

  • Ability to generate and deploy insights 

  • Has curiosity and passion on understanding people and culture, with dedication to make an impact on the organization strategy grounded in insights

  • Has strong ability to influence strategic decisions through fact-based analysis.

  • Can understand, develop and execute research plans effectively.

  • Able to work collaboratively across different cultures & functions

  • A good team player with excellent organizational, navigating, interpersonal skills

  • Client side experience of working for a multi-national or large reputable FMCG company in China is a plus


  • Bachelor & above, MBA is a plus

General Skills Requirements

  • Good English in speaking, writing, reading and listening

  • Good application of Microsoft eg: Excel, Powerpoint, etc

  • Able to handle and influence the dynamics from internal stakeholders on a relatively independent basis
