The Colgate Communication Lead is a critical role at CP China. This candidate will play an integral role in driving media transformation in the region in collaboration with the internal Brand MKT team,Consumer insight, Ecommerce team, and external agencies management. The candidate will help steward:

 

1)Media lead - media buy management, budget setting,investment plan and track, lead Colgate brand communication plan in both wechat and weibo, Colgate brand spokesman usage and social contents.

 

2)Brand campaign -  Partner with brand MKT team to drive brand equity, brand camplain, product launch big campaign on the ground execution and media implementation. 

 

3)  should have ideally related job experience working across multiple categories with media experience at the core. The candidate should have experience in the following areas:

 

  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and POVs

  • Develop 3 year media plan to support Marketing/brand strategies implementation

  • Experience in driving agencies management, PR management and negotiation

  • Integrated campaign planning/ communications planning

  • Thought leadership and innovation to drive brand activations

  • Media planning/buying across all platforms

  • A working knowledge of ad technologies and ad operations 

 

The ideal candidate should be a change agent with a passion for creativity and media. He/she should be able to translate our complex media landscape into simplistic terms to deliver our media transformation agenda, including building capabilities within the Colgate organization. He/she should be able to connect with the brand management, bringing expertise to drive trust and equity in the relationship.

 

R&R:

 

  • Social Media Marketing is focused on building a social media site presence to increase product/brand awareness, drive traffic to product/brand social media pages, and encourage potential customers to join product/brand social networks including: 

  • Leads annual media planning process 

  • Contributes to IMC development plan and KPIs - assigning the right roles for various channels especially digital

  • Conducting market research to identify the social media sites and promotional tactics of most interest to target customers 

  • Developing and implementing social media promotions, contests, informational/entertaining content, etc. to encourage potential customers to join product and brand social networks

  • Monitoring product/brand social networks, responding to questions, and collecting feedback on current and potential future products

  • Leads buying and optimization,drives the negotiation of regional media partnerships
