In today's dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Finance team at Colgate. Our highly energetic and focused Finance Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate-Palmolive in this constantly evolving landscape. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of treasury activities for the South ASEAN Hub (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei & Indonesia).

What you will do

 Cash planning  and funds management for the entire hub which includes : -

  • Liaise with Accounts Receivables (AR) to ensure funds in bank account are sufficient to pay off expenses & obligations

  • Review payment proposals and ensure all the remittances are processed smoothly

  • Manage Accounts Payable and intercompany balances to minimize balance sheet translation risk and  maintain an optimal working capital level

  • Complies with all policies and standards to ensure controls are in place 

  • Advise stakeholders on how to disburse or receive funds via the company’s bank accounts

  • Responsible for ensuring timely completion and submission of documentations required by the bank

  • Work closely with the Shared Service & Division Treasury to ensure smooth operations of our bank accounts, banking transactions and cash management

  • Perform other duties as assigned relating to Treasury, Intercompany & Cash

  • PO management to ensure controls for Procure to Pay processes are in place including vendor bank details 

  • Employee expense reimbursement verification and processing

  • Management and Statutory Accounts preparation and Analysis

  • Financial month end and year end preparation 

  • Statutory, SOX and Corporate Audit Coordination

  • Leased asset management and  reporting

  • Master Data Management - General Ledger and Cost Centre

  • Coordination of Government Statistics



  • Holds a degree in accountancy or professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA)

  • Minimum two years of work experience in Auditing, Financial Analysis or related field

  • P&L and Balance Sheet accounting experience is essential

  • Capable of delivering high quality and accurate work while respecting short lead times due to strong planning & priority setting

  • Proven strategic and analytical thinking capability

  • Self-starter who can work well both independently and across multi-level stakeholder group
