What would be the responsibilities for this role?
The scope of this role comprises the South ASEAN Hub (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia), where responsibilities include but not limited to:

Manage the multi-country payroll processing (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia) and related statutory reporting, in accordance with legal, tax and regulatory requirements in a timely manner.

Manage and liaise with third-party payroll service vendors for selected regions.

Perform financial closing, accruals and account analysis for payroll related transactions.

Handle expatriates tax compliance with professional tax service providers.

Coordinate with the share service organization (CBS) for employees’ claims reimbursements and ensure full compliance to company policy.

Perform a standard set of internal control procedures including SOX assessment for the regions’ payroll processes.

Collect and provide requested information for internal and external stakeholders including Global compensation team, the labor ministry & relevant local authorities’ audits.

Performs other duties as assigned.

What does the ideal candidate profile look like?

Holds a degree or professional qualification, in accountancy or its equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in payroll management.

Matured, meticulous & keen eye for detail.

Highly committed and sensitive to deadlines. Able to deliver accurate output in a short period of time.

Knowledge of EA & tax calculation.
