This role Reports to: Hub eCommerce Team Leader. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial with a high performance attitude to join our Analytics team that supports three key markets (Malaysia/ Singapore/ Indonesia) for our eCommerce channel, which is a rapidly growing and a strategic priority for our business. As an eCommerce Analyst, you will be driving the following domains:

What you will do

 
  • Integrate multiple first and third party data sources (excels, powerpivots, SQL databases, etc) into a structured dataset with (automated) dashboards by collaborating with our online retail partners and respective country eCommerce Managers
  • Own the monthly online sales and performance reporting, key performance indicators (KPI) & target tracking with the objective to automate reporting
  • Manage and analyze reports & data portals from leading online retailers (e.g. Lazada, Amazon, Shopee) and drive platform-specific insights to grow our business
  • Analyze the overall online channel data to track business performance, translate data to insights and flag issues / optimization opportunities
  • Generate insights on consumer demographics, behaviours and patterns, correlations, etc. for targeting purposes
  • Run performance analysis on Portfolio, Operations, Financial, On-site (in-store excellence), Campaigns, Market share, etc. on a recurring basis, with occasional deep dive studies on performance issues / growth opportunities in all domains
  • Deliver category and campaign specific insights and improvement recommendations to category marketing managers and eCommerce Managers
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master’s degree from any recognized university
  • At least 3 years of related experience in the eCommerce sector
  • Analytical thinking ability, and good communication skills
  • Ability to set up a data warehouse / databases and automated reporting & dashboards, drawing from multiple data sources
  • Advanced Microsoft excel (VBA, power pivots) skills, experience with PowerBI / QlikSense and database/dataset structuring & manipulation abilities
