Overview:

Responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of finished goods and materials planning. This includes ensuring alignment with production requirements and demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with various cross-functional teams to ensure materials and finished goods are managed efficiently and timely.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Production Planning Management:
    • Ensure that the production planning of finished goods aligns with sales and forecast requirements.
    • Prevent stockouts and overproduction through strategic alignment and planning.
  2. Monitoring and Response to Production and Inventory Alerts:
    • Proactively manage potential disruptions by monitoring production and inventory alerts.
    • Coordinate with the S&OP team to ensure timely product availability.
  3. Material Scheduling and Supplier Coordination:
    • Oversee the scheduling of material deliveries and ensure timely receipt from suppliers, aligning with production schedules and logistics capacities.
  4. Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with teams across Supply Network Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Netops, Quality Logistics, and External Partners to enhance planning processes and implement supply network strategies.
  5. Performance Tracking and Analysis:
    • Monitor key performance indicators related to production planning.
    • Provide actionable insights to boost operational efficiency.
  6. Master Data Accuracy and System-Driven Planning Execution:
    • Ensure systematic, data-driven planning is upheld 100% of the time.
    • Conduct regular quarterly reviews of master data to ensure consistency and accuracy in line with business objectives.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend improvements in the planning processes.
    • Provide insights to enhance production efficiency and inventory management.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Engineering.
  • Professional Experience:
    Prior experience in Planning or Supply Chain roles.
  • Core Skills:
    • Proficient in communication and data analytics.
    • Intermediate English.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficient in SAP, Google Collaboration Tools (required)
    • DOMO, and other relevant digital tools (preferred)
