Purpose: 

Establish and maintain globally standardized production planning strategy at the manufacturing facilities to deliver service, operational efficiencies and inventory goals while supporting the E2E Synchronize & Demand process and promoting 100% System Driven Planning.

 

Scope of Responsibility: 

The Production Planning Manager oversees the C-P Brazil Manufacturing Production plan-of-record, budget / LE volume planning process, inventory level recommendations, and product sourcing matrix. This role leads the master production planning with the objective of maximizing customer service and achieving working capital objectives at the lowest Total Delivered Cost. 

 

Key activities include: 

  • Production management – Manage and counsel on manufacturing scheduling, product sourcing activities, warehouse/delivery and order taking operations

  • Execution of volume plan – Facilitate global budgets, capacity planning, inventory flow and levels with operations and finance to align inventory and customer service objectives.

  • Partner Collaboration – Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, Customer Service & Logistics, Commercial, CBS team, and external business partners to drive operational efficiencies, execute supply network strategies and achieve key performance indicators.

  • Synch Demand & Supply process and System Driven Planning – Ensure E2E SD&S discipline is followed while promoting 100% System Driven Planning.

  • Meet budgetary goals – Establish policies and targets for forward looking global SKU stock coverage optimization, inventory glide-path projections, and global month-end finished goods inventory reporting (units and pounds)

  • New product execution – Work with Marketing, Commercial, CMS, Finance, and CS&L teams to ensure preparedness and timely execution of new product initiatives.

  • Planning Strategy - Ensure Production segmentation strategy is updated and delivers optimal service and cost. Also support implementation of Global initiatives and best practices, between plants and scaling global initiatives. 

 

Key interfaces are Supply Network Planning, Demand Planning, Subsidiary CS&L, Finance, CMS, Global Planning and Human Resources

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.

MBA preferred.

 

Experience:

Solid combined experience in Manufacturing, Customer Services & Logistics or Procurement management. Solid supervisory or project management experience.

Technical:

Proficiencies in advanced analytics and apply Supply Chain optimization tools / methodologies, including advanced proficiencies in SAP and Microsoft Excel, and intermediate proficiencies in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.
