In today's dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Finance team at Colgate. Our highly energetic and focused Finance Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this constantly evolving landscape. As the Brand Accountant, your understanding of the Finance Organization and its end-to-end process is vital. You will be responsible for analyzing the financial information of the brand and preparing reports to assist in the decision making processes of the management department related to pricing, margins, gross to net… Your expertise in standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement is important to this role.

Essential Functions

• Applies the principles of accounting to summarize financial information and assist in the preparation of financial reports. 
• Processes all financial transactions related to the commercial area, making sure to maintain accuracy, relevance and correct processing of the information.
• Prepares financial reports and analyzes volumes, net sales, variations, reasoning for profit and loss, estimates and budgets for quarterly meetings, recommendations about SPI’s
• Maintains direct communication with the commercial area about brand information.
• Executes activities related to budgets for departments such as: actuals, estimates, and fiscal month. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Administration or similar. 
• 3 years of experience in financial areas working with commercial teams. 
• Proficiency with the English language.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Strong Excel and Google Sheets Skills.
• Proficiency with finances (ROI, P&L, budgeting, and estimates. 
• SAP Proficiency.
