The Operations Associates will assist Operations Technicians with the preparation and execution of startup, changeovers, operations, and line shutdown. Also can support material handling, warehousing and quality checks.
This position will have primary responsibility for executing the coordination of production materials, safety compliance, data collection, quality checks, maintaining 5S Visual Workplace, inventory (packaging materials and finished goods), and overall production support. The Operations Associate works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with others in the same production unit as well as other production units and support functions.
Responsibilities include:

Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EOHS requirements; Understands and is accountable for following: all Quality, GMP, and cleaning standards and guidelines;

Inspects and samples inbound trailers, packaging materials, and products according to SOPS;
-
Loads and unloads materials, parts and finished products manually or by mechanized means;
-
Transfers and stores finished and materials throughout the plant and warehouse using forklift equipment;

Complete all appropriate SAP and RF transactions for receiving, transferring and shipping of materials and finished products;
-
Utilizes SAP to confirm material movements and reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved;

Delivers production items to designate work areas for processing;
-
Stacks processed items in the warehouse;
-
Delivers processed units to storage or for the next stage of processing;

Completes daily check sheet for forklift safety and maintenance;
-
Performs cycle counts and inventories;
-
Performs safety check of pallet stacking at end of shift and reports and resolves any issues;

Packs products in containers;
-
Assists with startup, changeovers, and operations of automated and manual equipment throughout the production facility;

Performs daily housekeeping activities and conducts/participates in area housekeeping assessments as required to meet all GMPs and FDA requirements;

Assists with finished goods preparation and inspection;

Removes and disposes of Production line waste according to Standard Operating Procedures;

Qualifications
Required:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Ability to lift 55 pounds repeatedly for extended periods of time;
-
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend to 90 degrees repeatedly;
-
Must be able to work any shift, weekends and mandatory overtime as needed;
-
Proficient with computers, software, and data processing
-
Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
-
Demonstrated competency of Attention to Detail, Work Standards, Initiative and Managing Work.
Preferred:
-
GMP and/or consumer goods manufacturing experience a plus;
-
Previous manufacturing work team experience preferred;
-
Demonstrated competency in problem-solving/decision making, effective communication, results-oriented, and job fit.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
