Job Purpose:

To ensure positive employee relations and productivity through culture and organizational development and driving the plant people strategy.

 

Job Context & Challenges:

Sanand is a strategic toothpaste manufacturing location in Colgate world and is growing. The plant has a young workforce which is relatively new to the organization. Hence there is an ongoing need to assimilate the existing and the new employees with CP Values, Culture and way of working. The position with be responsible for Sustainable Employee Relations, Compliance, Welfare, Statutory Compliance, Plant Administration, People Budget and Productivity improvement of the toothpaste factory. This position will also be responsible for continuous development of competencies of people and organizational capability and for partnering business to achieve the envisaged vision. The position will be responsible for Culture building and alignment initiatives.

 

Functional linkages:

Internal: Plant and Manufacturing Leadership team, HO and Division HR Teams,  Functional Leaders, Medical officer, Global vertical (GTD), Colgate Business Services HR

External: Govt Bodies, Educational institutions, Hospitals, Service providers, Legal consultants

Experience:

Essential:  People Management, Hands on experience in employee relations and dealing with workmen, labour law and compliance

Desirable: Experience in the area of Diversity and inclusion, experience in the area of building capability & change management.

No. of yrs. of Exp reqd.: Minimum 8 Yrs. after HR specialization

 

Professional Qualifications & Training:

Essential: Post-graduation in Personnel Management / HRM
