Position: Customer Finance Analyst Location: San Salvador, El Salvador

Role Summary

As a Customer Finance Analyst at Colgate-Palmolive, you will be the financial guardian of our brand strategies. You will manage budgets and databases to track, analyze, and report on P&L statements, ensuring all commercial activities align with our financial objectives. Your insights will empower business partners to make data-driven decisions that ensure the financial health of our categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning: Partner with Channel Team Leaders to define GTN (Gross-to-Net), ASP (Average Selling Price), Sales, and Margin objectives per client, ensuring alignment with national strategy.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track monthly ASP, GTN, and Margin performance by channel and key clients. Identify deviations and collaborate on corrective solutions.

  • Investment Optimization: Evaluate promotional plans (Pre & Post-Event) to analyze their impact on margins and brand strategy.

  • ROI Leadership: Drive a "Return on Investment" mindset within the Customer Development Team (CDT) by providing action plans and continuous advisory based on ROI tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

  • Experience: Previous experience in Financial Analysis.

  • Finance Skills: Strong knowledge of investments, margin analysis, and profitability.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (essential) and SAP (highly desirable).

  • Language: Intermediate English level.
