The Shopper Development Manager is responsible for tailoring, deploying, and managing 5P’s tactics by RE’s within the customer. They are responsible for providing input on the customer/RE perspective. They work closely with the Customer and Customer Marketing Manager to develop strategies and tactics that ensure alignment between the customer plan and the RE strategy.
5P Strategy Deployment
- Tailors 5Ps by RE to customer formats.
- Responsible for deploying (5P’s) Tactic within the customer.
- Identifies 5P opportunities within Customer / RE to drive growt.h
- Evaluates Pre-Post 5P activities (Promotion evaluation with Finance).
- Responsible for the deployment of Selling Stories.
- Participate in T2T and Customer Reviews.
Business Planning Support
- Provides input on customer/ RE perspective.
- Supports teams to identify opportunities (CBP/ monthly discipline).
- Support Logistics to drive Customer Sales Planning.
- Communicates 5P plans to Operations and monitors implementation.
- Ensure alignment between customer plan & RE strategy
Category Management:
- Responsible for leveraging shopper insights to drive category development opportunities, deploys Level 0 Catman strategies & tactics.
Customer / RE Shopper Insights:
- Champions RE/ Customer shopper insights.
Shopper Marketing:
- Deploys centrally developed SM program (Shopper insight activation.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Customer Development
- Strong commercial/sales background.
- Computer literacy (word, excel, PWP)
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent personal leadership qualities.
