Purpose of the Position:

 

The primary purpose of the Process and Systems Validation Coordinator is to ensure that all processes, systems, and equipment at the plant are validated to meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role is crucial in maintaining product integrity and regulatory adherence, thereby supporting Colgate's commitment to delivering excellence and safeguarding consumer trust.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate and lead the implementation and validation activities for processes and systems at the plant.
  • Work directly with plant teams whose functions impact the quality, safety, purity, and/or efficacy of products.
  • Ensure that processes are adequately supported and compliant with regulations in accordance with the 26 quality standards and the requirements of both national and international regulatory agencies.
  • Guarantee that the functions performed by the systems are correct, safe, accurate, and consistent with user safety and intended use.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory validation and change control requirements, ensuring proper interpretation and implementation.
  • Implement validation procedures and master plans that describe the validation methodology, as well as the necessary activities and timelines to maintain this status.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor the validation activities defined for each process, system, and equipment to ensure their functions impact quality.
  • Generate and execute installation qualification protocols for equipment and systems to be validated.
  • Follow up on deviations from the validation process.
  • Follow up (FUP) on the installation projects of the plant.
  • Attend to corporate internal audits and have experience in auditing.
  • Maintain contact with contractor personnel, demonstrating some management of personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with Colgate standards (FPR and Quality).

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Must:
     

    • Education in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Knowledge of blueprints and diagrams.
    • At least 1 year of experience in quality, equipment validation, critical systems validation.
    • Intermediate-advanced level of English.
       
  • Desirable:
     

    • Handling of validation software.
    • Knowledge of regulatory standards, specifically COFEPRIS and FPA.

 

 

Additional Skills:

 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence in documentation and preparation of technical reports.
