Job Summary: 

 

The Capital Project Engineer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing capital projects based on company requirements. This role involves generating technical specifications, selecting and purchasing equipment, overseeing construction and manufacturing processes, conducting acceptance tests, and coordinating equipment installations. The job also includes developing layouts, planning installations, creating electronic scopes for installations, field supervision, coordinating training, and generating project validation documentation. Additionally, the role involves managing resources of contractor companies.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Evaluate, analyze, and implement projects effectively.
  2. Prepare detailed supporting documentation for each project.
  3. Manage project timelines and resources.
  4. Coordinate with support areas for project execution, including Quality, Safety, Purchasing, and Finance departments.
  5. Provide support for project validation processes.
  6. Control the inflow and outflow of project assets.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and standards.
  8. Supervise the quality of work during project execution.
  9. Apply Factory Performance and Reliability standards.
  10. Manage contractors and project documentation on the field.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Control and Instrumentation.
  • Experience: Leading programming teams, project management, controls, PLC programming (specifically Allen Bradley).
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems (Aveva) and instrumentation.
  • Language: Intermediate English proficiency.

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in manufacturing processes in food or personal care industries.
  • Experience with ISA regulations and standards.
