Position Purpose:

 

Responsible for leading the security strategy for Colgate Palmolive business partners in Transportation & Warehousing. Risk Management. 
 

Let’s talk about responsibilities:

 

  • Diagnose and design the security of the raw materials supply chain and finished goods for export and import activities, as well as the domestic and local distribution.

  • Reviewing, updating and developing protocols, manuals, policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for Security Audits to distribution centers, transport companies in order to analyze vulnerabilities.

  • Conducting Risk Assessments in the localities where our facilities are located.

  • Monitor the proper administration of budget expenditure, assets and projects of the department.

  • Interaction with the Legal department for accreditation of property in case of accidents and robberies.

  • Responsible for C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) certification, established by the United States government to safeguard the industry's exports to the United States through security at its borders.

  • Implement, review and update all the personal security measures for all the Expat's living in the country.

  • Responsible for defining and implementing the security plan for all functional departments of Transportation and Warehousing, considering national goals and objectives.

  • Design and implementation of preventive and corrective actions in national security to reduce accident rates on freight.

  • Responsible for implementing operational risk mitigation strategies to protect employees and facilities.

  • Coordinate and supervise properly provide the escort service for all the freight transport.

  • Constant communication with owners and managers operating distribution centers and transportation.

 

What you need for this position

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in transportation & logistics
  • At least 3 years of experience in Functional Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • C-TPAT Knowledge or certification 
  • SAP knowledge (Desirable)
  • Intermediate English Level
