Job Summary

• Development of new formulas of Personal Care Products (Shampoo, Conditioners, Liquid Hand Soap, Shower Gel) across the different brands from Colgate-Palmolive Latam.

• Responsible for formula development, stability evaluation, and evaluation of formula properties within assigned brand/category, and communicating results with other functions.

• Actively participate to scale up formula developments from lab to pilot plant.

• Interact with cross category partners  such as PD&I, Implementation & Support, Quality, Regulatory, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS), Technology Insights, Legal, Supply Chain and Product Development.

• Support changing formulas from batch system to continuous system

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• To develop, manufacture and evaluate stability of different Personal Care formulas.

• To generate recipes for different Personal Care formulas.

• To scale up the formula developments from lab to pilot plant scale. Work in the pilot plant and learn the use of the continuous system, supporting whatever is required for its operation.

• Collaborate with key internal Teams.

• Strategic communication with external partners (suppliers, marketing, regulatory, packaging, safety, fragrance).

• Communicate project status, strategies and proposals to business partners and senior management.

• Properly document all work performed in the eLabNotebook.

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

• Bachelor´S Degree in Chemistry Engineer, Biochemical Engineer or related field. 
• 1-2 Years of Consumer Goods Industry Experience Preferred
• 1-2 Years of Functional Experience
• Candidates must demonstrate abilities in adapting to different scientific fields.
• Advanced English

Travel Requirements

• Up to 50 %

IMPORTANT: THE POSITION WILL BE LOCATED 6 MONTHS IN SAN JOSE ITURBIDE AND 6 MONTHS IN MEXICO CITY (CDMX), SO THE CANDIDATE NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL 6 MONTHS.
