Medical & Education Specialist - Rome, Filorga Italy

Laboratoires Filorga, a pioneer in cosmetics inspired by aesthetic medicine, is establishing a new strategic role that will serve as the scientific face of the brand to Dermatologists, Aesthetic Doctors, and Plastic Surgeons and will have a key role in combining medical information with commercial development in the Lazio region, through training activities.

The ideal candidate will not only have the task of educating and engaging the medical profession but will also operate in synergy with proximity pharmacies and personally manage the opening and development of aesthetic medicine clinics as authorized brand retailers.

Key responsibilities

Medical Information and Scientific Dissemination

  • Scientific promotion: Present and promote Filorga products in detail to healthcare professionals (Dermatologists, Aesthetic Doctors, Plastic Surgeons), supporting their use in association or follow-up to anti-aging treatments and encouraging their prescription.

  • Continuing education: Provide constant scientific updates on formulations, patents (e.g., NCEF), and clinical studies, ensuring physicians have a complete and deep understanding of the efficacy and tolerability of the treatments.

  • Medical stakeholder management: Plan and conduct regular visits to medical practices and aesthetic medicine clinics to establish, consolidate, and maintain long-term relationships.

  • Medical events: Represent the brand by actively participating in seminars, industry events, and local and national medical congresses.

Business Development and Territorial Monitoring (Pharmacies and Clinics)

  • Clinic Development (B2B): Manage, expand, and retain the portfolio of Aesthetic Medicine Clinics as authorized retailers in the assigned geographical area, acting as a true commercial consultant.

  • Pharmacy Monitoring ("Close Pharma Doors"): Visit high-potential pharmacies adjacent to medical practices to monitor prescription trends (sell-out) and communicate with the commercial team to ensure the availability of products recommended by doctors.

  • Proximity Pharma Training: Deliver targeted training to proximity pharmacy teams, ensuring that over-the-counter advice aligns with the therapeutic indications of prescribing doctors.

  • Order Management: Handle the entry of direct orders for Aesthetic Medicine Clinics through the company CRM system.

Planning, Reporting, and Strategy

  • Planning and Reporting: Manage the planning of visits (doctors, clinics, pharmacies) and draft accurate periodic reports on activities carried out and KPIs achieved.

  • Market Intelligence: Collect and analyze feedback from the market (doctors, patients, pharmacists) to optimize promotion strategies and share them with the headquarter.

  • Corporate Alignment: Actively participate in periodic Sales Meetings, collaborating synergistically with the Sales and Marketing divisions to maximize results in the territory.

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Cosmetic Science, or related fields)

  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles. Experience in the skincare industry is preferred

  • Language: Italian mother tongue, good knowledge of English

  • Microsoft Office and Google Suite proficiency

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into concrete benefits for patients

  • Strong result orientation, proactivity, organizational autonomy, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected Gross Annual Salary Range: € 31.600 – € 37.500 gross per year

This position is offered under a permanent employment contract.

The role is governed by the applicable Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement (“CCNL”) Commerce, including the relevant job classification and economic provisions applicable to the position.

The initial compensation within the above range will be determined on the basis of objective, transparent and gender-neutral criteria, including professional experience, skills and competencies, qualifications, scope of responsibilities, role requirements, location, applicable CCNL classification and internal company policies.

Subject to role eligibility and applicable company policy, employees may also be eligible to participate in variable compensation programs tied to company and/or individual performance, including an annual target bonus opportunity.
