Italy Education Specialist

 

JOB PURPOSE

Develops & delivers educational programming for Italy towards future and practicing dental professionals to drive awareness, recommendation, prescription & usage of consumer and professional products. Represents the company through engaging talks and presentations; creates, maintains, and updates educational content to audiences & changing environment; supports in the internal training of local teams. Secures branded ambassadorship & multiplication from mid-level dental and non-dental influencers that are relevant in influencing future and practicing dental professionals to drive recommendation, prescription & usage of consumer and professional products.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Delivers personally educational content through engaging talks and presentations via face to face & digital formats, to individuals, groups & large audiences

  • Represents the company at educational events across universities, congresses, and digital webinars

  • Support Scientific Affairs & Education Manager in content needs for customer meetings, internal training, digital consumer content, etc.

  • Support Scientific Affairs & Education manager on taskforces to further digitize our offerings

  • Help elevate our content segmentation & delivery to key targets in the digital space

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating educational content based on local market needs, relevant audiences, new product launches, and technical requirements

  • Supports in training of local teams in the science of our products

  • Segments and prioritizes relevant influencer/speaker targets in alignment with HUB Scientific Affairs & PBMs

  • Engages speakers/influencer targets to multiply brand ambassadorship and recommendation. Plans and executes interaction with relevant influencer targets to secure long-term sustainable relationships

  • Systematically leverages existing structured continuing dental education (regional study clubs, regional conventions, centralized partners such as corporate clinics) for efficiency

  • Leads the organization of educational events (face-to-face and digital), supported by Scientific Affairs or OCCs (including presence in relevant local congresses and conventions)

  • Captures and tracks external customers/partners and activities in CRM and internal reports, analyses reports and reports relevant performance/output KPIs

  • Systematically provides feedback on targets and market dynamics to Hub Sc Affairs and Marketing

  • Constantly consults with Scientific Affairs re. delivery of education

  • Runs/contributes to digital “student center” within divisional/hub-led framework

  • Travel: 50-75% time

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Level of Education: Bachelor Degree, a plus to have a focus in Life Science, Education or Dentistry. Masters Degree is a plus

  • Knowledgence of the  Italian professioanal/dentist business and academic network

  • Years of Experience (range): Minimum 2 years of in-market/in-field experience with practicing professionals and/or academia targets or alternative education / sales role

  • Work experience showcasing superb communication & persuasion skills a must have; engagement with larger audiences a plus

  • Work experience with interactive remote and digital communication tools a must

  • Previous work experience with dental or pharmaceutical companies or oral health products a plus

  • Superb communication, negotiation and influencing skills across diverse targets with differing backgrounds and needs

  • Digital savviness & eagerness to learn and drive change, especially regarding digital and remote presentation & engagement tools

  • Excellent understanding of health science & practice is a must and a passion for learning  & teaching

  • Fluent Italian; Very good level of English
