<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting Technicians with the preparation and execution of startup, changeovers and line shut down. This position will have primary responsibility for executing the master sanitation functions, coordination of production materials, safety compliance, data collection, basic quality checks, maintaining 5S Visual Workplace, inventory (storeroom and packaging) and overall production support. The Operations Assistant works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with others in the same production unit as well as other production units and support functions.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Problem assessment, problem solving and basic math skills

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Basic understanding of mathematical calculations, weights and measurements

    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Use a stand-up or sit-down forklift, intermittently for up to twelve hours per day

    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Frequently walk up and down multiple levels of steps, multiple times a day, up to 8.5 levels - carrying tool bag, materials, or other supplies that weigh 25 lbs. on average
    • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Occasionally climb ladders or ledges, with tie-off equipment when required
