Role Summary: 

As a Retail Marketing Specialist you will play a pivotal role in aligning consumer and retail environment (RE) strategies to increase demand and guarantee profitable business growth. By developing RE scorecards, monitoring the 5Ps execution, and utilizing shopper insights, you will apply your expertise to drive impactful solutions and ensure our products are flawlessly positioned in the points of sale and consumption.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive RE Growth: Develop 3-year and immediate Retail Environment strategies based on shopper and market insights to ensure business growth ahead of the market

  • Define and Analyze 5Ps: Define and analyze 5P execution by RE to respond to shopper, customer, and competitor trends, resulting in sustainable sales and market share growth

  • Collaborate and Plan: Partner with Field Sales, Customer Marketing, and CDT leaders to develop shopper and RE plans, while assigning clear objectives to achieve business priorities

  • Perform Financial and Business Reviews: Actively participate in CBP Discipline to evaluate monthly performance (volume, sales, GTN, investment levels, margins) against targets and adjust strategies based on key opportunities

  • Maximize Sales and Promotions: Utilize category analytics and shopper knowledge to develop actionable solutions, maximize baseline sales, and drive efficient, effective promotion plans

  • Build Cross-Functional Partnerships: Establish key relationships built on trust and integrity, serving as an internal consultant across the Colgate Palmolive organization and to external customers.



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing or Commercial area

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite

  • Analytical ability to understand market data
  • Advanced English level

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Modern Trade at a consumer goods company
