Position Summary: CP Skin Health Group is seeking a committed Research Associate to bolster its high-speed research and development efforts for the premium skin health sector. Based at our Scottsdale, Arizona facility, the successful applicant will possess the expertise to plan and execute exploratory clinical trials that underpin product debuts, marketing claims, and our future innovation roadmap. We are looking for an individual dedicated to converting complex data and insights into actionable, objective-oriented reports that drive ongoing advancement and business success.
Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

Design, coordinate, and conduct small-scale clinical studies using human volunteers to support product launches for premium skin health brands.

Manage study protocol and review associated reports.

Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish study targets and timelines, ensuring trials are recorded in compliance with project goals.

Recruit product trial participants, including developing and utilizing creative, new avenues for recruitment.

Execute study procedures, which involve product measurement and application, observation of skin reactions, participant questioning, and efficacy evaluation using instruments such as Visia® photos and other skin measurements.

Design questionnaires and identify novel demonstration methods to support “Knowledge based selling” of CP skin health products.

Generate, analyze (using statistical methodologies), and organize study findings into appropriate formats (Excel, Word document, and PowerPoint).

Maintain study-related databases, including protocols, regimens, notes, feedback, and outcomes, focusing on efficiency and creativity.

Liaise with external innovation partners, dermatologists, skin instrumentation experts, and internal teams (Early Research and Product Development) to develop new methodologies for demonstrating product efficacy.

Present case study findings and insights at weekly product development meetings, claims meetings, and sales training.

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Treatment Room.
Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
-
Experience & Licensing: 2+ years of aesthetics experience coupled with a valid aesthetic license.

Procedural Expertise: Hands-on experience performing basic aesthetic procedures, including chemical peeling, microneedling, and dermabrasion.

Instrument Proficiency: Ability to operate skin instruments such as Visia, chromameter, and cutometer.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Google Workspace.

Understanding of Electronic Data Capture.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Highly organized and detail-oriented with proven ability in record-keeping.

Ability to independently prioritize duties and the confidence to communicate the Studies to external visitors

Communication & Technical Skills: Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills, technical writing ability, and proficiency in data management and analysis.

Work Environment: Ability to manage fluid, multi-factorial timelines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and exhibit strong interpersonal, time management, and multitasking skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $70,000.00 - $96,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
