Our Quality Engineer provides a critical link between Product Development, Implementation and Support, Packaging, Plant Operations, and Quality. We're an energetic team that requires fast-paced critical thinking and attention to detail. You will be responsible for driving the site’s quality culture through rigorous risk management, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities

Provide daily plant support to address quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives

Assist in technical reviews of changes in labeling, formulas, specifications, suppliers, plant sites and packaging to ensure continuous improvements

Interface effectively with key business partners including Operations, Product Development, Implementation and Support, Procurement, Vendors, and regulatory bodies to drive business results

Conduct Good Manufacturing Practice audits to ensure plant compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices and conformance to Global Quality Standards

Evaluate finishing line stability through Statistical Process Control and execute corrective actions based on process capability trends

Develop inspection and rework protocols for material at the plant and the distribution centers

Participate in product inspections, line trials, On-Shelf Quality Audits etc.

Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce scrap, rework and customer complaints

Utilize quality tools such as Change Control, Root Cause Analysis, Failure Investigation, Pareto Charts, Control Charts, and Notice of Deviations, and more to help drive continuous improvement

Review and approve completed batch production records and associated quality documentation
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field

3+ years of manufacturing plant experience

Experience in quality systems with practical knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and Risk Assessment tools
Preferred Qualifications
-
Understanding of cGMP and 21 CFR 210 & 211

Proven communication, time management, and project management skills

Working knowledge of SAP

Experience Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles

Experience conducting quality training and cGMP training
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $76,800.00 - $121,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
