Demand Planner Role 



Provide a company with an 18-month demand plan at SKU level developed with cross functional input, synchronized with supply processes with the objective to balance case fill and inventory.


Scope of Responsibility: 

Responsible for managing all activities to develop, align, & communicate the demand plan for the subsidiary, with End to End approach and with leveraging new tools and analytics. 


 Main Responsibilities: 

  • Build Collaborative Demand Plan – Interact with commercial teams  to gather customer plans & other demand inputs, gain alignment and document key assumptions. Keep demand planning integrated with business planning process

  • Review Demand Plan - Participate in the monthly commercial planning  process to validate company plans and identify demand related exceptions, develop an aligned demand plan, continuously monitor sales vs forecast performance.

  • Synchronize Supply & Demand - Ensure alignment of final demand plan to supply plan. Identify and ensure communication of supply risks/opportunities/constraints, potential solutions. Identify and communicate excess inventory issues to the commercial team, agree on solutions and monitor their execution. Identify potential solutions to avoid case fill issues or inventory consequences, and impact on “unconstrained demand plan”

  • Support New Product Planning -Work cross functionally   on demand for new products and track/measure actual shipments vs. assumptions

  • Measure & Track Performance – drive improvement of demand planning process & results; prepare Demand Planning KPIs diagnostics, run root cause analysis for forecast inaccuracies and propose improvement actions.

  • Communicate & Manage Demand Identify/ Communicate significant changes; Facilitate Fast Track process. 

  • Participate in change management and continuous improvement initiatives   and projects

  • Monitor SKU complexity and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives.




  • Experience  in forecasting,  demand planning

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally

  • Detail oriented,  accurate

  • Good Planning/Priority Setting

  • Deep understanding Supply Chain metrics and interdependencies between them

  • Understanding of commercial planning basics: promotion planning, new product launches, customer planning

  • Fluent English

  • Experienced in utilization SAP R/3, APO-DP, BI, Google suit,  BigQuery  as a  plus
