The role:
This role is part of the User Experience team within the Global Information Technology organization responsible for designing digital products built by our product teams and will require both creativity and analytical capability.
What you will do
- Create visually appealing user-centered designs that meet user needs and drive business success
- Apply consistent design patterns, and create new patterns for reuse with senior input
- Proactively solicit feedback from stakeholders and the UX team to continuously improve deliverables
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct user research to guide product design decisions
- Optimize information architecture to promote usability, while accommodating technical needs/constraints
- Develop user flows and personas to facilitate feature design process
- Lead cross-functional design sessions for functional teams
- Articulate designs by putting them in the context of business and user goals
- Collaborate with other designers, product managers, and developers to create a consistent feedback loop within the
- product team
- Assist in the expansion of UX capabilities within the IT organization
- Support the execution of customer inquiries, helping to conduct sessions, analyze feedback and identify needs and
- insights
- Participate in design discussions and collaborative sessions with teams and stakeholders, offering and providing
- feedback on concepts and ideas
- Maintain an awareness of industry and UX trends.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2 years Minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Must work effectively in a team environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet
- accelerated timelines
- A portfolio of work demonstrating experience conducting research and designing for complex systems across multiple
- platforms
- Demonstrated skills in effective communication, execution, innovation, and planning/prioritization
- Proven expertise and commitment to knowledge management and mentoring others
- Prototyping tools (e.g. Figma/Sketch/XD)
- PowerPoint, Google Slides
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to solicit specific requirements from business users and express complex technical concepts in business terms
- Possess adequate leadership skills to lead and facilitate UX efforts
- Ability to conduct complex and interactive solutioning workshops
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Wireframing
- Miro
- Jira/Trello
Salary Range $68,880 - $113,400 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
