As manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, developing, and maintaining front-end web and mobile applications. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who thrives in a leadership position. Your passion for technology, expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and proficiency in AngularJS will be instrumental in guiding the team towards success. In addition, your strong focus on user experience, code quality, and innovation will be key drivers in our product development efforts.

Software Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a team of talented developers in our B2B eCommerce applications landscape
  • Develop effective communication, partnership, and relationship-building with clients and cross-functional teams, facilitating execution of projects
  • Operate strategically and tactically. Develop vision, strategy and help set direction for the team
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest software development activities within the team, actively engage in resolving technical challenges, and play a key role in design decision-making


Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher degree


Required

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying end-to-end applications
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of developers
  • Demonstrate a proficient understanding of web markup, encompassing HTML5 and CSS3
  • Strong experience of client-side scripting and proficiency in JavaScript frameworks
  • Proficient in addressing cross-browser compatibility challenges and implementing effective solutions
  • Skilled in applying GIT source code control and various branching methodologies
  • Proficient in debugging, performance monitoring, benchmarking, logging, and employing testing tools

 
Preferred

  • Experience in hybris Commerce development working in storefront and add-on developing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience using one or more advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, React, Vue or Angular
  • Shopify theme development / liquid experience
  • Experience with digital tagging and analytics measurement (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
  • Experience with AB testing and knowledge of page load optimization
  • Leading Agile/SCRUM development teams
  • Using User Centric Design and applying User Experience concept

Salary Range $107,760 - $164,850 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
