At Colgate-Palmolive, we offer an exceptional Internship Program within our Global Information Technology (GIT) organization. This internship is a six-month paid hybrid program, starting in June and continuing into the fall semester as part-time with opportunity to extend if eligible.
Interns will join the Human Resources Technology team and gain real-world development experience with software, SAP Successfactors and its applications. As an integral part of a global team, interns will develop Successfactors extensions based on SAPUI5 technology to cater business needs of complex reporting, automation, and custom transactional applications. Interns will work closely with the Project Team to learn, develop, and document Successfactors extensions.
Responsibilities:

Research and learn SAPUI5 framework

Develop Successfactors extensions using SAPUI5 framework

Create SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) for developing the SAPUI5 based applications, which will support faster development of Successfactors extensions

Write and test code for both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (Node.js, Java, etc.) components of web applications
Requirements:
-
Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at a college or university with a graduation date of or later than December 2025

Majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Documentation of authorization to work in the United States, not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future

A minimum GPA of 2.8

Demonstrated familiarity with programming languages like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js through course or personal projects

Experience with version control systems (i.e. Git), IDEs (i.e. VS Code, IntelliJ), and other relevant tools

Previous work experience with software development or web-related technologies is a plus

Must be available to work hybrid at our Piscataway, NJ office location throughout the entire internship

Every Tuesday or Wednesday, specific hours are flexible

This position requires a 6-month commitment (June-December)

Must be available to work 35 hours/week during the summer break and 15 hours/week during the fall semester

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $23.00 - $32.50 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
