About the role

Quality Stability Scientist for Stability is responsible for learning, understanding and executing compliance with cGMPs and conformance to corporate Global Quality Standards.
● This includes conformance to and annual review of the Technology Center Quality Manual with specific detail of the stability program.

●Responsible for monitoring the Piscataway Stability Program. This includes authoring, reviewing, revising, managing and monitoring the documentation.
● Build relationships and foster teamwork with Product Development, Global and Local Packaging, and Divisional and local Supply Chain Management, EOHS Departments, as well as outside vendors.

 

Education and Experience 
● Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology or related science or equivalent work experience required.
● Some background with quality systems and cGMP compliance preferred
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing change
● Strong organization skills and time management behavior

 

Position description

Assist in executing the strategy for managing the Stability Program for Piscataway by maintaining the

proper documentation and control for the stability chambers.
● Is responsible for ensuring events such as Deviations, Excursions and Chemist status notifications are
executed. These documents will be entered in the Global Quality Stability database to ensure
compliance with cGMP’s and conformance to site SOP’s.
● Maintain Inventory Equipemt List, Chamber Incident Logs, and Stability Metrics
● Participate in / Lead technical reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of Preventive Maintenance, Failure
Investigation, Non-Conformance and Change Control systems for the Stability Program
● Coordinate and conduct Quality Training programs to help product development category personnel
maintain the most current body of knowledge and expertise for cGMP’s and Colgate Global Quality
Standards.
● Assist in writing POs for work needed and report Quality Spending vs. Quality Budget to Manager on
regular basis.
● Coordinate and schedule stability start dates in LIMs with R&D
● Pull and Place stability studies into chambers in accordance with stability SOPs and LIMS protocols
