Colgate-Palmolive is seeking candidates to join our prestigious Global Information Technology Organization as a Business Process Analyst - Supply Chain. This exciting opportunity will be based in Piscataway, New Jersey, within our Global Application and America's Organization. As part of this role, you will have the outstanding opportunity to support and collaborate with global, divisional, and subsidiary teams across North America, Latin America, and Hill's Pet Nutrition.

 

The Business Process Analyst will play a vital role in the successful implementation of our Supply Chain applications. With a deep understanding of the supply chain domain, you will be responsible for defining and executing innovative solutions that meet our business requirements. Additionally, you will have the chance to engage with key partners, including business leadership and users at the global, divisional, and regional levels, ensuring alignment and driving impactful outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the supply chain organization at the divisional and subsidiary levels to understand business processes and capture business requirements  
  • Analyze research and resolve requests submitted by the business, using existing technologies and ensuring the solution is aligned with divisional goals and GIT strategies. 
  • Identify new techniques and technologies and concepts that can contribute to business and IT. 
  • Implement global bundles for North America, Hill’s and Latin America subsidiaries. 
  • Effectively communicate project and work related information to the team. 
  • Ensure compliance of GIT governance practices. 
  • Participate in the planning of and lead the implementation of multiple complex GIT projects simultaneously

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT role configuring and implementing SAP Logistics modules (Logistics Execution/Transportation, Stock Transport Orders, 3PL Warehouse integration)  in a consumer goods or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts  in business terms 
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge of SAP applications on a technical level 
  • Able to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, and technologies 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Business 
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming is desirable
  • SAP S/4 HANA experience is desirable
  • Experience with EDI messages with 3rd Party Logistics is desirable
  • Knowledge of IDOCS, BAPi’s, RFC and ALE interface

Salary Range $100,000 - $147,000 USD
