Quality Compliance Specialist 

 

The Quality Compliance Specialist responsible to lead and drive the site's quality processes, procedures and overall documentation system to meet all requirements of Colgate's Global Quality Standards and relevant US Drug and Medical Device Regulations. Responsible for site quality digital systems administration to assure data standardization and data integrity.  Identifying and developing site Quality Systems analytics to support better business decisions.  

 

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for document management systems

  • Creating and reviewing quality assurance policies and procedures (SOPs), training materials and other communication tools (Quality Plan) to ensure departments and categories meet Colgate Global Quality Standards requirements and Regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Lead investigations and document discrepancy, non-conformance, CAPA and change control issues

  • Prepare metric / KPI reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities 

  • Identify training needs and organize training delivery systems to meet quality standards and site SOPs

  • Plan, document and support internal audits and external FDA inspections.

  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

  • Identify, support and implement opportunities to automate, simplify, standardize and digitize quality processes and procedures using digital workflows, eSignature and other available digital tools enhancing our ability to identify areas for improvement in the quality systems. 

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum 8 years of experience working in a regulated environment.

  • Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma

  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience

  • Experience with implementation and management of discrepancy and corrective actions programs

  • Strong computer skills including Google Suite Tools is a plus (docs, sheets, smartsheets, dashboards, etc.) 

  • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA, as well as, QA applications and databases

  • Solid experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
