Professional Services Procurement Specialist
The Professional Services Procurement Specialist will lead the development of sourcing strategies to optimize the total value of our suppliers. The Professional Services Procurement Specialist will support strategic negotiations and sourcing activities.
What you will do:
- Develop sourcing category management long term strategy
- Manage contracts, vendors, and related strategic business relationships
- Implementing best in class global strategies and managing relationships and alliances with the leveraged suppliers so that they are in tune with developments and directions of business units
- Manage Funding the Growth savings program
- Conduct competitive bidding processes
- Work collaboratively with team members, global and regional engineering teams, and suppliers to develop and monitor project plans to ensure sourcing projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Partner with vendors and business partners to develop/reevaluate risk mitigation plans
- Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with our strategic partners and working with the entire supported function/business units
- Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing and supplier innovation and efficiencies.
- Ensure organizational service, quality, sustainability, innovation, diversity, and financial goals are met.
- Gain comprehensive industry knowledge of best practices, processes, and technology trends to proactively adjust sourcing strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years of experience working in similar roles
- Strong Business Analysis- Utilizing digital tools when solving problems and making decisions. Analyze data to support recommendations.
- Strategic mindset applied to Category Management. Responsible for the Category Strategy creation to support business goals
- Negotiation skills- Planning and anticipation, demonstrates professionalism in all business settings and shows ability to control emotions, mannerisms, and communication style.
- Teamwork and Relationship building- Being a team player when interacting with stakeholders and peers. Able to manage relationships at different levels of the organization
- Data Management Proficiency - Data quality analysis and use of Data visualization tools to identify spending patterns and modeling
- IT/Software procurement experience - SaaS negotiation and contracting experience
- Strong Logical Mindset applied to processes and Governance
- Project Management Skills and experience in Project Implementation
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration
- Experience managing/negotiating Services
Salary Range $88,800 - $131,250 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
