We are excited to invite applications to join our Digital Commerce applications group as a Product Analyst supporting various ecommerce platforms across a range of business models. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and a deep curiosity about technology, data, and user experience, as well as a passion for how technology can enhance people's lives. You are analytical, fluent in data, using it to drive decisions and actions. You are highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. As a proactive self-starter, you are passionate about advancing our digital commerce applications, ensuring that security, performance, and user interface considerations are seamlessly integrated into the designs of our constantly evolving portfolio. You have excellent communication skills, can translate technical concepts into business friendly language (and vice versa), and are comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are comfortable in ambiguity and bring a flexible mindset—willing to stretch beyond formal job boundaries to solve complex challenges and drive momentum. 

 

This position is based out of the Piscataway, NJ location. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

 

What you'll do

  • Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver a high-impact digital commerce roadmap.
  • Gather complex business needs and translate them into clear user stories, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and well-managed backlogs.
  • Collaborate with UX, IT, and brand leaders to design seamless features that align with Colgate brand standards, legal compliance, and user-centric design principles.
  • Guide cross-functional scrum teams through sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and end-to-end release management.
  • Define success metrics, design event-based analytics with engineering, and evaluate post-launch performance to continuously iterate and improve site experience.
  • Oversee feature testing, verification, and deployment to ensure flawless execution and alignment with overall product goals.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or 2+ years as an IT Product Analyst, Business Analyst or Product Owner.
  • Familiarity with Digital Commerce platforms, including but not limited to Shopify, SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce, and BigCommerce.
  • A functional comprehension of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Agile/SCRUM development teams
  • Proficient working in collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in web development or architecture, user-centric design principles, and analytical platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Practical experience utilizing generative and agentic AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Cursor, ChatGPT) to optimize productivity and technical workflows.
  • Background in B2B technology sectors, with the ability to navigate ambiguity across technical requirements and business goals.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage concurrent projects with meticulous attention to detail and familiarity with QA verification methodologies.
  • Clear, professional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $94,000.00 - $137,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
