We are excited to invite applications to join our Digital Commerce applications group as a Product Analyst supporting ecommerce platforms across various business models. 

 

As eCommerce continues to accelerate, we have a number of exciting projects in the works and are looking for several Product Analysts to join our team to help realize our vision.  Our ideal candidate has a technical background, is intensely curious about technology as well as a passion for how technology can improve the life of people.  You are analytical, fluent in data and using it to drive decisions and actions. You are highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. You are a self-starter, eager to drive new product pipelines and consider security, performance and user interface implications in the designs of our constantly evolving portfolio. You have excellent communication skills, can translate technical jargon into business friendly language to communicate concepts and ideas (and vice versa), and are comfortable working with both technical and non technical stakeholders.


Specifically, this position will have responsibility to:

  • Support Product Managers in defining and prioritizing a well-defined roadmap for digital commerce sites with internal stakeholders
  • Support Product Team in delivering product enhancements as defined by the Product Manager’s Roadmap
  • Responsible for defining the release process and coordinating all activities to help build the product/site
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Work with IT, UX and business team stakeholders to groom functional and design requirements on major features
  • Develop user stories, technical requirements, process flow diagram and relationship diagrams such as flow charts
  • Responsible for ensuring user stories are tested, completed, and deployed
  • During feature definition, help define success metrics and design event-based analytics implementation by working with the development team. Post launch, evaluate the feature using these analytics and collaborate with Product Managers to inform subsequent feature iterations.
  • Collaborate with product manager and technical leads in maintaining plan integration and ensuring the overall achievement of product objectives
  • Promote adherence to project documentation
  • Ensure site experience and design is consistent with the Colgate brands and legal requirements
  • Lead a scrum team during stand up calls and drive completion of committed user stories in a sprint

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree 
  • 1+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or 2+ years in IT Business Analyst or Product Owner role
  • Experience with Digital Commerce platforms such as Commerce Cloud, Magento, Salesforce, Shopify, Big Commerce, etc.
  • Working on Agile/SCRUM development teams
  • A functional understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.
  • Clear, concise and user-friendly interpersonal skills to easily transmit your ideas to any audience
  • Self-motivated with strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to work on numerous assignments at one time with proven follow-through, attention to detail and dedication to business partnership
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity - in business requirements, technology options and product / site direction
  • Understanding of standard QA practices to ensure core quality gates are being observed
  • Ability to adapt and grow within a dynamic work environment with supportive team culture.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Google Analytics (or similar)
  • Knowledge of collaborative tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar
  • Experience with web development / architecture a plus
  • Leveraging User Centric Design and applying User Experience concepts
  • Experience in B2B technology a plus
     


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $88,800.00 - $131,250.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
