Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a motivated individual to join our Spring 2026 Network Data Analytics Internship for the Global Information Technology (GIT) organization. This role ‌is‌ ‌a‌ ‌six-month‌ ‌paid internship that will begin in January and continue into the Spring with opportunity to extend beyond.

 ‌ ‌

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an interest in networking concepts (WAN, SDWAN, Capacity Planning), and familiarity with scripting or programming for data manipulation and task automation. As a part of our Global Networks Team, you will be primarily focused on leveraging data analysis and automation to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our Wide Area Network (WAN) circuit inventory management. 

 

Responsibilities May Include: 

 

WAN Circuit Data Analysis and Automation:

  1. Analyzing existing WAN circuit inventory data for completeness, accuracy, and opportunities for optimization.

  2. Developing and implementing scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate the retrieval, reconciliation, and validation of WAN circuit inventory from various sources (e.g., vendor portals, internal databases).

  3. Designing and creating dashboards or reports (e.g., Splunk, Google Sheets) to visualize key WAN circuit metrics, track service expiration dates.

  4. Collaborating with the Wide Area Network Team to streamline the circuit ordering, provisioning, and decommissioning processes using automation tools.

  5. Participating in the evaluation of new tools and processes for circuit inventory management and network data analytics.

 

Experiences will include working alongside Wide Area Network / Information Security Teams:

  1. Learning about Palo Alto SD-WAN and advanced networking technologies/operations.

  2. Assisting on Capacity Planning utilizing utilization reports from Palo Alto

  3. Assisting with InfoSec Audit Actions related to circuit inventory documentation and security compliance.

 

Requirements

  • Must‌ ‌be‌ ‌currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program with a graduation date of May 2026 or later

  • Pursuing‌ ‌a‌ ‌major‌ ‌in:‌ ‌Computer‌ ‌Science,‌ ‌Information‌ ‌Technology,‌ ‌Computer‌ ‌Engineering,‌ ‌Business/IT‌ ‌Systems‌ ‌Management‌ ‌or‌ ‌related‌ ‌fields 

  • A‌ ‌minimum‌ ‌of‌ ‌2.8‌ ‌GPA‌ ‌

  • Authorized‌ ‌to‌ ‌work‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌U.S.‌ ‌without‌ ‌requiring‌ ‌visa‌ ‌sponsorship‌ ‌now‌ ‌or‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌future.‌ ‌

  • Technical‌ ‌knowledge‌ ‌and‌ ‌skills,‌ ‌completed‌ ‌course‌ ‌work,‌ ‌projects,‌ ‌or‌ ‌relevant‌ ‌work‌ ‌related‌ ‌experience‌ ‌

  • Must be available to work hybrid at our Piscataway, NJ office location

    • At least once a week between Monday-Thursday

  • This position requires a 6-month commitment (January-June)

    • Must be available to work up to 20 hours/week during the academic year


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $23.50 - $33.50 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
