The Manager, GSC Logistics Systems is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing processes and systems that enable transportation and warehousing operations. With a primary focus on SAP S/4HANA (WMS/EWM and TM) and integrated data & analytics platforms, this role serves as a key liaison between global and regional business stakeholders and IT to ensure logistics processes systems are robust, stable, efficient, and aligned with enterprise strategic goals.

Responsiblities:

  • Digital Roadmap & Strategy: Orchestrate and implement the global logistics digital roadmap, aligning technology investments with end-to-end supply chain goals and fiscal objectives.

  • Business Case & Solution Scouting: Partner with Global Process Owners (GPOs) to build business cases, evaluate emerging technology, and maintain executive-level stakeholder alignment.

  • Warehouse Automation: Drive the functional strategy, design, and SAP S/4HANA integration for warehouse automation technologies (e.g., AS/RS, AGVs/AMRs, etc.) to optimize throughput and inventory accuracy.

  • Logistics Partner Integration: Lead the governance and deployment of B2B integration standards (EDI and real-time APIs) with carriers, 3PLs, and freight forwarders for automated tendering, tracking, and milestone visibility.

  • Third-Party Cybersecurity & Compliance: Partner with IT Security to enforce cybersecurity standards and encryption across external connections, mitigating supply chain data risks.

  • Process Governance & Audit: Ensure system solutions adhere to globally defined business processes, data governance standards, and internal control/audit requirements.

  • Analytics & Performance: Serve as the functional SME for logistics data, supporting reporting and analytics for freight spend, carrier performance, and key operational KPIs.

  • Production Support & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with IT to manage incident escalations, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement continuous process improvements.

Though primarily centered on process excellence and functional mastery, this position necessitates a technical depth and a minimum of 5 years of professional background in the field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Information Systems.

  • 5+ years of experience in managing logistics and supply chain systems, with proven execution in global environments.

  • Must have at least 3 years hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (specifically EWM/WMS and TM modules) or equivalent ERP ecosystems, and EDI/API architectures,

  • Experience with business intelligence/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud), ability to build governance dashboards and executive KPIs using Snowflake, Sigma, or Domo.

  • Proven mastery of  project management software (Jira, Asana, MS Project) and delivery frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, SAP ACTIVATE.

  • Delivers compelling, C-suite presentations (Canva, Google Slides) that translate complex technical roadmaps into strategic business decisions.

  • Ability to look at E2E flows and identify where a process change is a better solution than a system customization.

  • A proven ability to drive cultural shifts and sustained adoption of new processes across the supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certificate (CPM or CPSM or Project Management).

  • AI Automation & Scripting: Practical experience applying AI platforms (e.g., Google Gemini, Gemini Notebook / NotebookLM) alongside low-code or scripting environments (e.g., Python, Google Apps Script, Power Automate) to automate workflow documentation, build lightweight data pipeline scripts, and analyze complex logistics logs.
