As the Manager, Technology Insights at the Piscataway Global Technology Center (GTC), you will be the critical link that translates deep, inclusive consumer learning into breakthrough innovation. This dynamic role is responsible for inspiring and enabling R&D teams to make informed business decisions that accelerate our strategic growth initiatives. You will be empowered to explore and pilot cutting-edge methodologies for generating insights, all while ensuring projects are prioritized and non-actionable testing is challenged. Responsibilities:

  • Define and Execute Strategy: Define, own, and execute the end-to-end Technology Insights learning agenda for the Oral Care category, translating strategic business objectives into actionable research plans and providing clear, data-driven Points of View (POV) and recommendations to R&D leadership.

  • Drive Strategic Foresight: Proactively identify and lead complex, strategic, and exploratory research programs, partnering with external consultants and internal thought leaders to uncover deep consumer and technology foresight that fuels the innovation pipeline.

  • Unlock Superior Performance: Guide R&D teams in leveraging sensory and consumer cues to define and validate winning product performance, ensuring superior product delivery and breakthrough innovation.

  • Harmonize Global Insights: Serve as the primary liaison for Oral Care Technology Insights, collaborating with Global and Local Consumer Insights and other cross-functional partners to ensure a connected and holistic insights agenda across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in such areas as Sensory Science, Psychology, Statistics, Food Engineering/Science, Marketing, UX

  • Minimum 8 years of Insights experience

  • Has at least 2 years of sensory science experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is strongly preferred.

  • Agile and Outcome-Driven Mindset: Focused on translating insights into tangible business outcomes with a commitment to activation.

  • Expert Research Acumen: Strong experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative sensory and consumer user research tools to drive the innovation pipeline from need identification to successful launch.

  • Holistic Insight Generation: Flexible in approach, with the ability to connect research findings across methodologies to maximize discovery and strategic impact.

  • Cross-Functional Influence & Storytelling: Highly collaborative with exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring action and influencing diverse stakeholders through powerful data storytelling.

 


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $109,600.00 - $137,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
