Colgate-Palmolive is seeking IT Manager, Supply Chain Analytics candidates with experience in data architecture & knowledge of machine learning, algorithm development, or artificial intelligence. Candidates may not require experience in all these areas but need hands-on experience in data architecture & modeling as a minimum requirement.
Specific position responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead a team of Data engineers/Data architectects;
- Leverage technology to solve complex data problems and build data applications on Snowflake data platform;
- Drive, design, develop, and maintain a world class data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet business analysis, reporting needs, and data science initiatives;
- Work directly with supply chain business users and data scientists to assist in project analysis;
- Be the primary point of contact & liaison between Supply chain analytics enable team and the IT teams as needed
- Optimize and scale data warehouse and data processing infrastructure;
- Participate in the development and maintenance of ETL jobs and data pipelines to aggregate data from various sources on premise, cloud platforms & external data sources;
- Design and develop data marts for consumption by analytics tools and end users;
- Develop code standards and guidelines to manage and ensure data quality and integrity;
- Evaluate new technologies and constantly work towards continuous improvements in data architecture, our platform, and the organization;
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Math or Physics OR comparable work experience;
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a relevant field (Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Engineering, Data Warehouse Engineering etc.);
- Minimum of 5 years of experience/proficiency in:
- Working with SQL;
- Experience in Snowflake;
- Experience with ETL tools such as DBT
- Experience with IoT/IIoT infrastructure built up;
- Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working with data pipelines and streaming frameworks such as dbt, Pubnub/github, Spark, Kafka etc. (Experience with 1 or 2 of these)
Preferred Qualifications
- Python/Javascript or similar programming languages is a plus;
- Experience with SAP data extractors & clear understanding of Supply Chain processes is a plus;
- Experience working with Google cloud platform or similar cloud computing platforms;
- Experience with SAP BI architecture is a plus;
- Familiarity with deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes, or similar technologies;
- Interest in data science and how it can be leveraged to gain deeper data insights;
- Ability to embrace, learn, and apply new technologies and tools;
- Familiarity working in global & cross functional teams with a drive to ship quickly;
- Familiarity with business analytics tools such as Tableau, Domo, Looker etc. (Experience with at least 1 of these);
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with RDBMS
