Colgate-Palmolive invites applications for the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) internship position for the Global Information Technology (GIT) organization. This candidate will join the GIT Enterprise Service Management team to help with developing solutions which directly impact the performance and reliability of the global applications.


The ESM team creates solutions responsible for automation, monitoring, reporting and discovery of various information technology components. This position involves working on applications such as Splunk, understanding user requirements building, testing and implementing them using agile methodology. This candidate will have an opportunity to reimagine existing processes and research and analyze the tools’ features.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop automations using wide range of programming languages

  • Create monitoring controls on availability and performance of applications

  • Engineer innovative solutions using Splunk reports and dashboards for data analytics 

  • Utilize new technology and skills to achieve faster and better results for stakeholders

  • Maintain and expand current technical expertise including new industry trends, Colgate strategic partnerships, and self-study.

  • Grasp technical concepts quickly and apply learnings based on Colgate Global GIT standards.

  • Researching and exploring solutions/ideas


This position requires the following qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/IT Systems Management, or a similar discipline 

  • A current GPA of 2.8 or above

  • Documentation of authorization to work in the US, and not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Experience using object oriented programming

  • Aptitude for research and analysis

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a team environment

  • Ability to work independently
