As Global Responsible Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in elevating Colgate’s Sustainability agenda. You will develop and lead strategic responsible sourcing initiatives across all Colgate Categories and build partnerships with NGO’s, strategic suppliers and industry networks. You will work closely with the Global Procurement Team to ensure that our suppliers meet Colgate’s requirements and provide support to the different business units and functions on sustainability topics.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead the implementation of strategic Colgate's global responsible sourcing initiatives such as Accelerating Action on Climate Change and enforcing Human Rights and Workers Rights policies.
  • Develop internal and external standards and policies together with the Colgate Global Sustainability team and drive these into Colgate’s suppliers.
  • Engage with the NGO sector and industry networks on key issues relating to responsible sourcing.
  • Roll out Colgate’s responsible sourcing strategy across the Divisions and Functions and ensure alignment with Colgate responsible sourcing policies.
  • Collaborate with key suppliers to track and improve their sustainability performance.
  • Boost capability and knowledge across Colgate’s Global Procurement Organization and other partners around responsible sourcing.
  • Manage relationships with third party auditing resources.
  • Support buyers' review of supplier audits and monitor corrective action plan implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Curious mentality with strong interest in identifying and understanding new trends.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop key messages for internal and external communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for corporate social responsibility, supplier engagement, and responsible sourcing.
