We are looking for a Financial Analyst, Costing to join the team!

The Financial Analyst, Costing is responsible for supporting the North America Finance Supply Chain team. The analyst plays an active role in budgeting, supervising and analyzing supply chain end to end cost including material and both internal and external manufacturing cost. The position reports to Associate Director, Supply Chain Finance. The position requires a high degree of independence and self-drive, as well as positive relationship building and social skills.

 

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead overall NA costing process, working closely with plant controllers, CS&L finance team, External Manufacturing team, Procurement team, Commercial finance team and CBS:
  • Leading NA costing team, provide mentorship and deliver performance KPI
  • Analyze and verify overall supply chain end to end costs, balancing accounts to identify areas of opportunity and risk
  • Supervise internal and external Raw Pack Material inventory and cost process flow in close collaboration with the procurement organization.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reconciliations working closely with procurement and external manufacturers
  • Investigate and resolve Raw-Pack Material/external manufacturing vendor discrepancies related to price and quantity. Verify and provide back-up documentation and approvals for discrepancies.
  • Handle new vendor setup process and support in payment process
  • Support the annual budgeting, LE, quarterly forecasting and cost of sales process :
  • Coordinate half yearly and ad hoc standard cost updates, perform monthly variances' analysis, funding the growth performance and communicate key drivers.
  • Perform P&L cost valuation
  • Run CEB and depreciation schedule for company owned Fixed Assets at external manufacturers
  • Analyze and assess cause and effect relationships relating to sourcing changes between company plants and external manufacturing
  • Support the Plant annual budgeting, LE and quarterly forecasting process:
  • Collaborate with USCO Plant Controllers to consolidate spending data for the budget/LE process
  • Analyze and distribute expenses at sub brand level, working with various B&P Managers to ensure accuracy of manufacturing expense distribution
  • Consolidate all costing data for Plant, Department Administrative, Payroll, Depreciation, EMO, Scrap, and Imports
  • Present consolidated information key stakeholders for approval before preparing system and loading information
  • Collaborate with CBS to ensure journal entry accuracy
  • Coordinate Supply Chain Finance month end close, perform reporting & analysis on monthly margin performance
  • Ensure internal control in procurement and external manufacturing areas eg. SOX documentation, testing & issues resolution
  • Perform special analysis, reporting, and projects upon request

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field.
  • MBA/CPA preferred
  • 3-5 years of financial experience required, previous US operations experience a plus
  • Sophisticated SAP skills required
  • Strong Spreadsheet and organization skills
  • Strong communication skills as well as planning and priority setting abilities
  • Analytical skills plus strong attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Team/relationship building skills – ability to collaborate with people from various functions/fields
