We invite applications for the Data Architect position based at our Piscataway, NJ location.
This role will be part of the Financial Planning and Analytics team, modernizing systems and driving overall data architecture required to support data initiatives for the Global Finance organization. The candidate will work in a highly upbeat and collaborative team environment among Data integrators, Data Architects, Data Engineers and Data Analysts.
What you will do?
- Participate in deep architectural discussions in translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensure customer success when building new, or migrating existing applications to Snowflake
- Defining the data architecture framework, standards and principles including modeling, metadata and security.
- Supporting data cataloging and generating diagrams displaying key data entities, and produce an inventory of the data needed to realize the finance architecture vision.
- Define how the data is stored, consumed, coordinated and led by different data entities and IT systems.
- Engage with the data Integration and analytics engineering teams standard processes for data sourcing key data elements, data quality management and metadata.
- Support building the data pipelines to enable faster, better, data informed decision making within the business
- Work collaboratively with multi-functional teams and partners to achieve an organizational goal.
- Performs other duties as assigned Aligns with all policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Data Modeling
- Cloud technologies
- Proficiency working with SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years Programming languages Java and Python
Salary Range $77,120- $126,840 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
