 Job Summary

The FP&R Director is responsible for driving the overall success of the Factory Performance & Reliability Program, strategies, and performance across all sites in the assigned region. This position plays a critical role in developing, implementing, and driving continuous improvement strategies within a comprehensive manufacturing excellence framework. The Director ensures strong program governance, cross-category sharing, and the development of regional plans and goals in strict alignment with the company's Global Supply Chain 2030 Strategic Ambitions and Operational Excellence Strategy.

The role requires broad technical knowledge of category operations and the ability to drive standards implementation. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills are necessary for collaborating across categories, regions, and sites with Directors of Manufacturing, Technical Directors, the End-to-End (E2E) Leadership Team, Regional Supply Leads, and other cross-functional groups. Furthermore, this role provides direct support and strategic counsel to site Directors of Manufacturing, Plant Managers, and local FP&R teams.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the divisional FP&R strategy by developing initiatives that ensure a robust foundational program.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in FP&R standards, providing guidance on standards, methodologies, tools, and systems.

  • Oversee the implementation of FP&R standards and guidelines across manufacturing sites, ensuring organizational systems are in place and compliance is maintained.

  • Lead all elements of the FP&R Audit program, including scheduling, resource assignments, execution, reporting. Follow up on the closure of Global and Self Audits findings and action items.

  • Monitor FP&R Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), per standard  to the sites of the region assigned to identify areas for improvement and best practices.

  • Build comprehensive regional plans, operational goals, and strategic roadmaps that are in direct alignment with the organization's Global Supply Chain 2030 ambitions.

  • Ensure the robust usage and knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and controlled measures to avoid repeated Unplanned Downtime (UPDT) and Absolute Material Loss (AML) issues.

  • Lead and support the development of the FP&R team across the division. Provide technical and leadership training to operations, engineering, and site teams.

  • Conduct hands-on site visits to assist with FP&R implementation and organize workshops. 

  • Ensure full utilization of Company data, digital, analytic and automation solutions.

  • Establish divisional FP&R campaigns based on identified inefficiencies, risks, and directional needs.

  • Develop onboarding plans for new FP&R site leads in conjunction with site HR and LTs

  • Follow-up sites on closure of global/self Audits findings, actions and pushed out items from the center or division.

  • Collaborate with E2E Leadership Team (LT), Supply Regional Lead, CMS team, and other functional groups.Communicate, provide direction and support to  DoMs and PMs regarding issues, program compliance concerns and challenges. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Technology, Science or related field

  • Minimum of ten years of experience and knowledge of Factory Operations, FP&R, Engineering or related Supply Chain role.

  • Demonstrated expertise in FP&R frameworks and knowledge in all the program standards.

  • Demonstrated experience in site manufacturing leadership, change management, or regional program rollout.

  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to link operational metrics and continuous improvement initiatives directly to P&L savings and cost avoidance.

  • Proficiency in SAP

  • Experience with OPERA or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

Preferred:

  • MBA or advanced degree. 

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt/Master Black Belt preferred).  

  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or similar Reliability Certification.

  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager or Engineering Manager. 

  • Experience as a FP&R Leader at a large, strategic manufacturing facility.  

  • Knowledge of Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, or digital manufacturing technology. 

 

Travel Requirements 

20-45% Travel - To sites assigned in the region

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $156,000.00 - $195,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
