Join our Procurement team in Piscataway, NJ!

The Divisional Procurement Manager, North America, is responsible for leading the North America strategy of key materials and key and critical projects cross category according to our F.E.E.D. principles. This role will be also responsible for working in a cross functional way as well as with other Divisions and Global teams in order to generate cost reduction initiatives as well as working as a key support to achieve our sustainability goals. Will be responsible to find opportunities to mitigate our risk exposure for our critical materials as well as for scanning and mapping potential roadblocks in our key material/suppliers that might impact/cap future growth and also seasonal volatility. Must have a clear understanding of the market drivers influencing the dynamics of his/her sourcing geographies. Will lead key cross category negotiations for NA align with Network Operations and Technology on New key Product Development and must be adept at the use of supply chain tools (SMI, ESM Audits, CLM - Risk Management etc.).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supply sensitivity for key materials.
  • Risk management mapping and strategy.
  • Market insights by working closely with Global teams in order to understand future cost movements and mitigate it impact in NA P&L.
  • Projects management.
  • Executes effective negotiations for specific cross category materials
  • Implements and supervises the Purchasing budget for the specific materials of responsibility.
  • Promotes and leads "Top to Top" meetings and, when vital.
  • Prepare and present short and long term strategies for the materials under her/his management.
  • Leads continuous improvement programs with key.
  • Executes efforts in using new "e-tools" (auctions, CLM, ESM, FTG Database etc.) to help drive Funding the Growth, simplification and standardization programs.
  • Contributes to local Funding the Growth Programs.
  • Continues to improve oneself by way of training, information sharing, mentor and feedback, appraisals, delegation and implementing standard methodologies.
  • Participates in external industry forums on an as needed basis (e.g, SDA / ACI or external Purchasing organizations) and internal procurement alignment meetings.
  • Develops detailed understanding of market structure and drivers for his/her materials, with risk management overview, and finds opportunities and threats for the future.
  • Interacts with suppliers and plant to prevent/tackle possible quality issues and also drive continuous improvement initiatives including FTG programs.
  • Develops new suppliers.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field, or comparable subject area.
  • At least 7 years of Procurement or Supply Chain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPM or CPSM) is desirable.
  • SAP experience is an advantage.
